We’re still working on updating this page for 2023 so that it has all the configurations for the latest Dell XPS 15 model. As of this writing, there are only a few configurations on the market, but they are easy to compare to the entries below. There are still a lot of great XPS computers from 2022 and 2021 that are worth your time.

Even though these machines are a little older, don’t write them off just because they don’t have the newest parts. They’re still great laptops all around. Because these laptops are older, it tends to be easier to find good deals on them, especially around big shopping days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

If you’re not sure which Dell XPS deal is right for you, don’t worry—we’ve put together a side-by-side comparison just below. Scroll down to see a full list of features and a comparison of prices.

DELL XPS 13 & 15 DEALS: LATEST MODELS

1. Dell XPS 13 (2022) deals

The latest flagship and the best XPS for most

CPU: Intel Core i5 – i7 (12th gen) | Graphics: Intel Iris Xe | RAM: 8GB – 32GB | Screen: 13.4-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,200), 13.4-inch FHD Touchscreen | Storage: 512GB – 1TB SSD

Dell’s XPS 13 line has been split into two models this year. First on our list is the “standard” Dell XPS 13 for 2022, which is basically the same as last year’s model but with updated parts. We put “standard” in quotes because, as you might expect, this is still one of the best laptops money can buy, with an amazing design and a beautiful borderless screen.

This year’s model comes with either the entry-level Core i5-1230U or the high-end Core i7-12750U, which are the newest 12th generation Intel Core chips. Both of these fast processors support Intel Iris XE graphics and give a boost to both overall performance and battery life. It’s mostly a small change that helps keep the XPS 13 at the top of the Windows ultrabook pack.

Other than that, this new version is pretty much the same as before. You still get a beautiful aluminum milled body, a bright and colorful display with almost no borders, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports that make it easy to connect to other devices. The basic Core i5 model of the 2022 Dell XPS 13 starts at about $999 or £999, which is about the same price as previous models.

The newest models are usually hard to find on sale because they are so popular, but you should keep an eye out during shopping events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day. It’s still early in this model’s life cycle, but we’ve seen price cuts of around $100/£100 with previous versions, which are pretty big savings.

2. Dell XPS 15 (2023)

The current XPS performance king

CPU: Intel Core i9-13900H | Graphics: RTX 4070 | RAM: 32GB – 64GB | Screen: 15.6″ FHD+ (1920 x 1200), 15.6″ OLED 3.5K (3456×2160) | Storage: 1TB – 4TB SSD

A brand-new Dell XPS 15 model will be available in March 2023. It will have the latest Intel chips from the 13th generation and Nvidia graphics cards from the RTX 4000 series. As of this writing, not all configurations have been released (Dell says they’ll be out in “Spring”). However, we’ve made an initial entry in our guide to show you what’s available now and how much it costs.

Along with the newest parts from Intel and Nvidia, the latest Dell XPS 15 2023 lets you customize your machine with up to 64GB RAM, a 4TB SSD, and a luxurious 3.5K OLED display. As you might expect, the price for these specs is very high, and it’s also unlikely that we’ll see any good deals for the time being. Stay tuned, though, because once this model has been on the market for a while, there will be sales.

3. Dell XPS 13 Plus (2022) deals

Dell’s high-end premium model

CPU: Intel Core i5 – i7 (12th gen) | Graphics: Intel Iris Xe | RAM: 8GB – 32GB | Screen: 13.4-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,200) – 4K OLED (3840 x 2400) | Storage: 512GB – 2TB SSD

As if the Dell XPS 13 wasn’t already high-end enough, the company has come out with the Dell XPS 13 Plus, a new high-end laptop for 2022. It’s not a huge upgrade from the standard XPS 13 model for 2022, but it does have a lot of nice little upgrades for those who want the best of the best.

First of all, it’s just a little bit lighter overall than the XPS 13. It also has a haptic touchpad, a better keyboard layout, and slightly better entry-level specs. For comparison, the 13 Plus starts with an Intel Core i5-1240P, while the standard 13 starts with an Intel Core i5-1230P. This means that the standard 13 will perform slightly better. The top-of-the-line 13 Plus model comes with an Intel Core i7-1280P chip, which is also faster than the best chip on the standard model. It’s important to note that all 13 Plus specs have touchscreen displays, but the resolution options are mostly the same as for the standard models.

Does it make sense? In general, these machines start at around $1,300 when they come out, so you’re definitely paying more for some features that make life easier. We’re hoping that sales like Black Friday will cut a lot of money off the high price tag this year.

4. Dell XPS 15 (2022) deals

Now cheaper thanks to the latest models

CPU: Intel Core i5 – i7 (12th gen) | Graphics: Intel UHD – RTX 3050 Ti | RAM: 8GB – 64GB | Screen: 15.6-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,200) – 4k (3840 x 2160) | Storage: 512GB – 2TB SSD

The Dell XPS 13 9310 was the previous top-of-the-line XPS 13 model. It was a redesigned version of the excellent Dell XPS 13 model from early 2020. In a smart move, Dell has kept the beautiful “Infinity Edge” display and overall design while focusing on putting the latest components from Intel into these beautiful machines.

All 2021 models have Intel Core chips from the 11th generation that work with Thunderbolt 4, 8 to 16GB of RAM, and between 256GB and 2TB of SSD space. These are exactly what you’d expect from a modern Windows ultrabook. They can handle any task you throw at them, except for games that require a lot of power.

As with most brand-new XPS 13 models when they come out, the base model with a Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM will start at around $1,000 to £1,000 for the 2021 model. It is, however, a good idea to wait for big sales like Dell’s July sale, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday, when prices drop dramatically, especially in the US, where the record is around $799.
